What is the gospel?

God loves us and created us for relationship with Him.

John 3:16: For this is how God loved the world: He gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life.

Sin separated us from God.

Romans 3:23: For everyone has sinned; we all fall short of God’s glorious standard.

Jesus came to save us.

Romans 5:8: But God showed his great love for us by sending Christ to die for us while we were still sinners.

Through Jesus’ death and resurrection, we are forgiven and made new.

1 Corinthians 15:3–4: Christ died for our sins, just as the Scriptures said. He was buried, and he was raised from the dead on the third day, just as the Scriptures said.

We receive salvation by faith, not by works.

Ephesians 2:8–9: God saved you by his grace when you believed. And you can’t take credit for this; it is a gift from God. Salvation is not a reward for the good things we have done, so none of us can boast about it.

The Gospel brings us eternal life and purpose.

Romans 6:23: For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life through Christ Jesus our Lord.

How do we respond to this?

Believe in Jesus.

Romans 10:9: If you openly declare that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.

Turn from sin and follow Him.

Mark 1:15: The Kingdom of God is near! Repent of your sins and believe the Good News!

Our mission: Spread the gospel, and strengthen the body of Christ physically, mentally, and spiritually.

God created our bodies as temples of His Spirit, and we honor Him by taking care of them.

Living healthy and staying in shape isn’t just about looking good, it’s about having the strength and energy to run the race He has set before us.

When we eat well, exercise, and care for our bodies, we’re better equipped to serve others, spread the gospel, and live out the purpose God has given us.

Every step toward health is also a step toward being ready physically, mentally, and spiritually for the journey He’s called us to.

Bring your flesh under submission to Jesus Christ.
